SETIF – The 2nd edition of the International Exhibition of Industry (Industria 2026), closed Saturday evening at the Palais des Expositions de Sétif, was marked by the signing of 84 agreements of partnership and cooperation between economic operators, according to the organizers.
The exhibition’s commissioner, Naoufel Cherfi, said that this economic event “has provided a space for communication between the various actors in the industrial sector, as well as a valuable opportunity to exchange experience and know-how, in addition to highlighting the productive capacities of the participating industrial companies.”
He also pointed out that this second edition recorded a strong influx of visitors, some 20,000 between economic operators, students and professionals, as well as a strong participation of exhibitors.
For their part, many exhibitors noted the importance of this type of economic events which offer industrial companies the opportunity to present their products and services and to highlight the
their productive capacities, thus contributing to enhancing competitiveness and opening up new opportunities for investment and cooperation between the various economic actors.
They also called for ”enlarge the international participation of economic enterprises in future editions”, in order to open up new opportunities for partnership and cooperation in the industrial field and to strengthen the exchange of expertise and experience.
As a reminder, 55 exhibitors representing companies from the public and private sectors, Algeria and China, participated in this 4-day trade fair, during which they presented a wide range of industrial products in the fields of mechanics, plastics, packaging, energy and textiles, in addition to various financial and insurance services.
